I obtained my master's degree in Jazz & Light Music - Singing at the KASK in Ghent and teaching at various academies throughout Belgium.

I performed as a background singer with: Milk Inc, Sioen, Roel Vanderstuk, the Make-a-Wish Band and Vlaanderen Muziekland.

​

In 2017 I also launched my own musical project called Martha, where, together with like-minded musicians, I converted a musical sketch into an organic song under the Ghent sky.

​

In 2023 I was back on stage, during 'Regi - The Return'.

Back as a background singer for Milk Inc.

Standing there felt like coming home after a long journey. The emotions that went through me when Linda, our shining star, stepped onto the stage are indescribable. 
And in 2024 I took part in the VTM show: "The Voice van Vlaanderen", where I was selected for Team Mathieu.

 

As a painter and artist, I am mainly self-taught and have my own approach to - and definition of - art. I believe in constantly taking risks and am convinced that inspiration can be found everywhere.

I am a creative thinker with an aesthetic eye for details and the bigger picture. Pedagogy, administration and general management are all part of my skills. Moreover, my creative side has expanded in recent years with training as a make-up artist, fashion design and more.

 

And last but not least... I am the (plus) mother of seven darling children, six boys and a girl...
